Dress Code

We will be teaming up with The Dance Shoppe in Dunedin at 400 Douglas Ave. for all shoe requirements. We also recommend On Pointe Dancewear in St. Pete for Pointe shoe fittings. Discountdance.com is also a great online retailer for all dance apparel.

Boys– Black athletic shorts and a fitted white t-shirt or tank top, socks and appropriate shoes for the specific class enrolled. (Ballet shoes- black, Jazz– tan slip ons, Tap– black lace up oxford)

Ballet Tap Combo ages 2-6

Pink or black leotard, and pink tights, skirts are permitted.

Hair pulled back away from the face in ponytail or bun.

Black patent Tap shoes and pink Ballet slippers are both required for this class

Ballet 

Black leotard and pink tights. Hair pulled into a neat bun. Hip alignment belts are to be worn in your age group/level color. We will order one for you when you register.

Wrap skirts are allowed for pointe classes only.

Ballet Pink canvas ballet slippers are required

Tap

Any color leotard and tights. Leggings or dance shorts may be worn over. Hair pulled back.

Black lace up tap oxford style shoes are required for ages 7+

Jazz/Musical Theater

Any color leotard and tights. Leggings or dance shorts may be worn over. Hair pulled back.

Tan slip on jazz shoes are required

Hip Hop (all ages)

Comfortable loose-fitting street clothes to allow comfortable movement. Hair pulled back. No jeans.

CLEAN, dry tennis shoes or combat boots

Acro/Tumbling

Any color leotard or sports bra and dance shorts. No tights for this one please! Hair pulled back.

Aerial Arts

For Silks, Trapeze and Lyra the students must cover their legs! For the girls- a leotard and leggings with no zippers or rhinestones with bare feet is recommended or a leotard and tights with tight dance shorts over top. For boys- they need a fitted athletic tee or tank top tucked into opaque leggings. Bare legs will NOT be permitted on the equipment. They will rip their skin! 
 

Modern, Lyrical and Cyr Wheel

Any color leotard and tights. Leggings or dance shorts may be worn over. HIGH ballet bun.

Barefoot for Modern *tan Foot Undeez (turners) may be worn for Lyrical

Improv and Yoga

Comfortable stretchy dancewear of your choice to allow comfortable movement. Hair pulled back. No jeans Barefoot only please
