What ages do you teach?
We teach dancers from young children through adults. There’s no age limit at MZ Dance Company. Whether you’re five or fifty-five, we have a place for you in our studio.
Do I need prior experience?
No. We welcome dancers of all ability levels, from complete beginners to advanced performers. Our classes are designed to meet you where you are and help you grow.
Is this a competitive school?
We are non-competitive. Our focus is on growth, artistry, and creating well-rounded dancers. You’ll perform in our productions and community events, but the emphasis is always on your development as an artist.
What styles of dance do you offer?
We offer classical ballet, modern dance, lyrical, plus tap, jazz, musical theater, hip hop, and more. A well-rounded dancer needs exposure to all styles, and we believe that deeply.
How often do you perform?
We create two full productions each season. Beyond that, our dancers perform at local festivals, galas, and community events throughout the year. We’re active in Clearwater and love sharing our art.
Can I rent your studio space?
Yes. We offer event space rentals for rehearsals, performances, and other dance-related events. Contact us to discuss your needs and availability.
What Circus Arts do you offer?
We offer aerial silks, hammock, lyra, and trapeze. We also have Cyr wheel, hula-hoop, and acrobatic classes. Most of our students love a variety of dance and Circus Arts classes.
